16 Degrees North, 102 Degrees East – Our land in Khon Kaen, Thailand

On November 15th we had a Tamboon ceremony with Monks from a Wat near our new land, outside of Khon Kaen, Thailand. The Monks gave a blessing to us and asked the spirits that live on the land to accept us as the new owners of the property. Later our friends planted trees around the lotus pond as our dogs Tom and Shampoo jumped and swam and explored their new home.

Thanks for the video. I will be retiring in Khon Kaen in April 2010 and will be going through the same thing – buying land, building a house, and living happily ever after.
