    Cool!
    I’ve been there, seen this, done that!
    I spent a year and a half at Udorn. 1971-1973. It would rain so hard the runway would be 2 or 3 inches deep in water. We’d fly in with tail hooks down, (F-4 Phantom), and with four planes, each would pitch out, fly the pattern, each take a different cable, and no one went around! You’d be stopped in 600 feet, roll back a bit, raise the tail hook, and taxi off the runway. Rain never stopped the war.

    And it didn’t stop you brain washed morons from dropping bombs on innocent men women and children! And the children are still dying to this day from the unexploded bombs in Cambodia that go off. Did good didn’t you!
