The citizens are just as responisbile as the soldiers... Who funds the Military!? who pays for the weapons in their hands!? YOU and every other citizen that WE the military swore to protect! Why dont you get off your ass and do something to change it instead of pointing your finger at the military. who keep you safe at night. Generations of Men have fought and died to keep America safe, and you disrespect us by comparing us to nazis!? uhm excuse me, we fought and killed the nazis.

march my dad has fought in the Iraq war served three terms over there (2 and a half) years. I still want to join the army though. What will the world think of us if we pulled out now leaving the UK? Do not think of this as pride, would you want to go to war with someone who has already pulled out of two and the cause of one of those is an attack in their own country? We need to win this war unless we want to have the Vietnam war happen all over again.

March don't you dare say I don't care about the troops. Look at us we have been fighting for 7 years. Then take a look at the THIRTY YEARS war, in comparison we have barely started just pulling out because a bunch of people with little to no army beat the US army. I care about our troops but they made a commitment to this and I don't want them to die without a purpos

WolverineDeus, there is absolutely no way that 40% of the boots in Iraq are National Guard members. Maybe you meant straight up Army? Anywase is the National Guard or Army mandatory? Nobody held a gun to their head telling them they had to join. Ya, it sucks what happens to their personal lives in a time of war, but almost all the soldiers either Marines or Airforce understand that that is their job. Being a Marine I understand MY DUTY no matter what, Semper Fi. Fuck this pinky liberal shit.
