I went to Korat a couple of years ago and loved it - it had quite a different feel from BKK - the security guards at shopping centres don't salute you in BKK like they did in Korat !!! I would love to go back oneday.

The lying lady on Radio China or Radio Peking or whatever it was warned us tha water tower would soon fall on MY barracks. The tower was too far away for that, though. Their intelligence wasn't so good, I guess. Nothing fell, nothing at all happened, as far as I know.
