yeah if everyone knew waht realy happened in the back of restaurants here that wouldnt seem so gross. its kindor ignorant to complain about that. I've never been to Thailand but ive been to Cambodia and the stalls where they use the same rags to wipe the sweat off their foreheads as they do to clean their untensils have MUCH tastier and more authentic food than any over priced tourist trap restaurant. want good food eat where the locals do and dont be a squeamish pussy

i'm about to cook some up, got my tamarind paste, pickled radish, etc. I'm throwing some cilantro in at the end, and lotsa lime! btw for those who are squeamish about the lady washing her hands in the canal, etc, do a little research into the western industrial meat and agribusiness complex.

Well, Indians bathe in the Ganges River and also dump their "household waste" in it (not saying that has anything to do with Thailand). That, and I know a guy who does pest control HERE, and he says restaurants are the WORST. Thats why I dont eat out much, I guess. But I would have no problems eating anything cooked in that style. I like mongolian grills as well. Call me picky, but for some reason it just tastes better. |
